1) A record of accomplishment. This does not need to be some huge achievement, just proof that you take action and can get things done. It doesn’t even have to have anything to do with business or technology.
2) Proof that you are willing to take direction and follow instructions. You have to be open to learning new skills and being trained to use new tools to succeed. And,
3) The ability to interact with people. Let’s face it, in business people want to join other people. Your success will be directly tied to your willingness to share of yourself and be authentic with those who choose work with you. You won’t have to do a lot of selling, but you cannot be anti-social either.
